  • At the age of 10 he became a midshipman in 1806 and he  rose to captain in 1834.
  • For 10 years he served in the America Channel in Mediterranean sea.
  • William Hobson had five children.
our opinion of the Treaty of Waitangi
The English should have less rule over our land New Zealand 

the Maori should have more because the Maori are originally
from New Zealand so they should have more say over the land.
